The program has a duration of 11 weeks in which several modules related to the Green Economy will be taught, such as Energy Efficiency, Domotics, Electric Vehicle, Assembly and maintenance of photovoltaic installations, and Reforestation Techniques among others. Some of the entities in charge of teaching this content in addition to Iberdrola will be: Save the Children, CORA, Reforesta, or Fundación GFM Renovables.
This second day took place this morning at the Iberdrola Campus, a 180,000 m2 complex located in San Agustín de Guadalix, which houses training, innovation, events, and work centers. These state-of-the-art facilities are the company’s global center for knowledge, innovation, and employability.
Nearly 13,000 people receive training at the Campus every year, representing Iberdrola’s commitment to technology, R&D, and collaboration with technology centers as levers to lead the energy transition, the green recovery of the economy, and the employment and employability of young people and senior professionals in sectors of the future.
Today, the young people participated in an informative session on “Professionals of the Future in the Electricity Sector”, where they were able to learn about all the professional activities required for the electricity sector and the professional families that are trained to perform these activities. In addition to visiting various training workshops (renewables, generation, networks, transformation centers…) and experiencing the practical and pioneering training carried out by the group through virtual reality.
