Our programme is channelled through Scholarships to train energy sector and environmental workers.
Our Scholarship programme is carried out in collaboration with prestigious organisations in the postgraduate training sector. The Scholarship programme trains top-calibre workers from the energy sector, who are able to develop a sustainable energy model to meet society’s energy needs and promote environmental protection in the countries in which Iberdrola has a significant presence.
We cooperate with the following scholarship programmes:
- Fundación Carolina Scholarships: awarded to university graduates in Iberoamerican countries for Master’s degrees at Spanish Universities in energy and environmental subjects.
- Fulbright Scholarship Programme: these two-year grants are awarded for post-graduate studies in the United States related to Iberdrola’s activities.
- Empieza por Educar Scholarships: since 2011, Fundación Iberdrola España has collaborated with Fundación Empieza por Educar in the STEM 4 GRLS program, promoting STEM careers for girls.
- ICAI Scholarships: the scholarships created in collaboration with the Comillas Pontifical University ICADE-ICAI aim to help students who do not have the necessary financial resources to continue their studies.
- Prado Museum Restoration Scholarships and Bilbao Fine Arts Museum Restoration Scholarships: these scholarships aims to train specialists in heritage conservation and restoration.
