Fundación Iberdrola España sponsors training and research as tools for producing knowledge and innovation to support the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
Our Scholarship and Research Grant Programme is training a new generation of workers to drive the transformation toward energy sustainability.
Working toward the SDG
The programme has been growing since it was created in 2010, based on a commitment to fostering knowledge transfer and strengthening relationships between private companies, schools and colleges and the research community. The programme contributes to these objectives, particularly aspects related to the Sustainable Development Goals and principles such as Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 11 (Sustainable cities and human settlements), Goal 7 (Access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy) and Goal 13 (Urgent action to combat climate change ).
