The exhibition ‘Museorum’ comes to Cifuentes (Guadalajara). This is the fourth stop of this cycle, organized by Fundación Iberdrola España, which travels through Castilla La-Mancha to make the art of the provincial museums available to everyone in open-air spaces, through a selection of their historical and most outstanding works.

More than 40 panels have been installed in the Plaza de San Francisco. The inauguration of the exhibition today was attended by, among others, Marco Antonio Campos, mayor of Cifuentes; José Luis Escudero Palomo, delegate of the Junta de Comunidades de CLM in Guadalajara and Fernando García, president of the Iberdrola Spain Foundation.

From the Museum of Guadalajara, in particular, can be seen the Campaniform Vase of Valdepeñas de la Sierra, the female Sculpture of Zenón de Afrodisias, the Ataifor of Guadalajara, the Sepulchre of Doña Aldonza de Mendoza of Lupiana, the Virgin of the Milk of Alonso Cano and the Botargad of Arbancón, among others.

After the success of the exhibition in Cuenca, Alcolea de Calatrava, `Museorum’ continues its tour through towns in Castilla-La Mancha. After Cifuentes, the exhibition will pass through Bolaños de Calatrava, Quintanar del Rey, Illescas, La Roda, Humanes, Torrijos, and Tobarra.
