Fundación Iberdrola España has a close alliance with the Prado Museum. Since 2010, we have been supporting its Restoration Workshop with training and research grants for specialists in heritage conservation and restoration.

The aim is to complement the skills and technical knowledge of future professionals with an apprenticeship of excellence in one of the most prestigious conservation and restoration institutions in the world.

Specialist environments

This year, for the first time, an International Scholarship will be offered at the Prado Museum’s Workshop for young people with degrees from Universities/Catering Schools based in Mexico.

Our call for the International Scholarship Iberdrola España – Museo Nacional del Prado Foundation focuses on the following area of specialisation:

  • Painting: study and participation in the processes of restoration and conservation of the paintings in the gallery.

The Iberdrola España Foundation, committed to the area of art and culture, is committed to restoration programmes as a tool capable of generating knowledge and innovation to contribute to the 2030 agenda.

Support will be given to restorations that include aspects related to these ODS: quality education (objective 4), decent work and economic growth (objective 8), sustainable cities and communities (objective 11).
