• Fundación Iberdrola España and Proyecto Hombre Jerez collaborate once again in the project to educate young people and their families on the responsible use of technology
  • Thanks to funding of 37,310 euros from Fundación Iberdrola España, almost 2,000 people will take part in apprenticeship workshops

Fundación Iberdrola España and the Centro Español de Solidaridad Foundation – PH Jerez have been collaborating in the creation of this project since 2019.  Through the project, the entity aims to educate in a responsible use of technologies in the area of prevention and treatment of actions aimed at people between 10 and 21 years old.

Project:

A personalised methodology will be used for each user to raise awareness of the risks of ICT abuse and pathological gambling, provide tools for emotional management, develop social skills, offer healthy leisure opportunities and acquire strategies to improve communication and the authority of their families. Various interventions and workshops will be carried out

  • Workshops for minors and young people on the problematic use of ICTs and pathological gambling.
  • Activity “Leisure without screens” in which outdoor leisure is encouraged among users.
  • Workshop “Integrate for families” where families will receive tools to educate in the responsible use of ICTs and video games.
  • TRIC School for the users of the “Proyecto Joven” program of the entity, in which 8 sessions will be held on the aforementioned problems for young people and their families.
  • Therapeutic-educational work for both young people and their families.
  • Quarterly therapeutic coexistence for young people and their families.

Thanks to the collaboration between the two entities, more than 100 interventions will be carried out reaching 1980 young people throughout the province of Cadiz.
