- Fundación Iberdrola España and the Aspace Cáceres Association collaborate in the creation of the project “Las Claves de la Inserción se Escriben con Unos y Ceros”
- Thanks to the funding of €9,000 from Fundación Iberdrola España, 17 people with disabilities will participate in workshops for their social and labor insertion
Fundación Iberdrola España and the Aspace Cáceres Association have been collaborating since 2021. Aspace Cáceres presents a double program to develop the skills of people with some kind of disability through a radio program “ONDA EXPANSIÓN”, where the beneficiaries tell their experiences, and they are the ones who produce the programs. The aim is to make known through the radio the rural world from their perspective and that other associations join the program.
Project:
Within the project “Las Claves de la Inserción se Escriben con Unos y Ceros“, the social and labor insertion of people with disabilities from 16 to 21 years of age is sought through the execution of a radio workshop initiated in the 2021 call and which will allow continuing with digital literacy, the acquisition of competences in the area of communication and pre-labor skills essential to be able to start labor insertion. This project has allowed not only to create a motivating occupational workshop but also to make the users feel empowered and above all to make known through the radio their experiences and motivations as active agents of society and their environment.
The beneficiaries are the ones who elaborate, with the help of social workers and educators, on the format of each program, from interviews, talk shows, and even musical podcasts. In addition, in parallel, digital and pre-labor skills have been worked on.
