CREA Program
Fundación Nantik Lum, through the CREA program, supports women so that they can take charge of their lives. The work of the foundation’s team is aimed at women entrepreneurs who want to start their own business and need, on the one hand, training and advice on entrepreneurship, and, on the other hand, access to financing.
The training, generation of trust networks, and autonomy of the participating women until they reach their business objective, are the keys to this program. The itineraries last six months and have regular fortnightly meetings, although some groups can last longer if the itinerary requires it.
On the road to independence for vulnerable women, the contribution of specialized financial health entities is essential, staffed with technicians and volunteers trained in economics and finance, who, through group training and individualized accompaniment, complete the help actions of other entities.
In its 20-year history, the Nantik Lum Foundation has acquired valuable experience and an extensive network of contacts that are essential to achieve our common goal of improving economic autonomy for women at risk.
CREA Group visit at the Casino de la Reina Social Center
At the Casino de la Reina Municipal Social Center, located in the Embajadores district, we shared a class on bank accounts and types of loans and credits with a CREA group. This group of women has received pre-employment training to improve their financial skills and reinforce their active job search. And the possibility of self-employment has also been opened to them.
