Calzada de Calatrava (Ciudad Real) today hosted the opening ceremony of the exhibition A heritage of all that promotes knowledge of the historical and cultural heritage of Castilla-La Mancha. On the stage of the Plaza de España, the event took place this morning with the participation of Gema Mª García Ríos, Mayoress of Calzada de Calatrava; Carmen Teresa Olmedo, delegate of the Junta de Comunidades de CLM in Ciudad Real; José Jesús Caro Sierra, Delegate of Education, Culture and Sports in Ciudad Real and Fernando García Sánchez, president of the Iberdrola Foundation Spain.

Sponsored by Fundación Iberdrola España and organized by the Junta de Castilla-La Mancha, the exhibition consists of 40 images of some of the most remarkable places of the region’s heritage. The project aims to capture the interest of citizens of all ages, tastes, and backgrounds to raise awareness of the importance of heritage and to publicize different options for enjoying it. The exhibition, which includes high-resolution photographic reproductions presented on 21 1.30-meter panels, has QR codes linked to in-depth information on the different images and their context (tourism proposals, cultural visits, local information, etc.).

After the success of the inauguration of the exhibition in the town of Jadraque (Guadalajara), Un Patrimonio de todos, has continued its tour of some towns in Castilla-La Mancha, stopping in San Clemente (Cuenca), Manzanares (Ciudad Real), La Roda (Albacete), Pastrana (Guadalajara), Bargas (Toledo), Hellín (Albacete), Belmonte (Cuenca) and Fuensalida (Toledo), ending its itinerary in Calzada de Calatrava (Ciudad Real).
