- Aimed at beneficiaries of the Paralympic Objective Sport Support Plan (ADOP) who are pursuing university or postgraduate studies during the 2022-2023 academic year
- Endowed with up to 5,000 euros, these grants aim to promote the education and professional training of athletes to promote their labor integration, once their sporting life is over
The monitoring committee of the collaboration agreement between Fundación Iberdrola España and the Spanish Paralympic Committee has announced the 14th edition of the Fundación Iberdrola España Scholarships, aimed at athletes who are beneficiaries of the ADOP Plan and who are pursuing university or postgraduate studies during the 2022-2023 academic year.
This aid consists of alleviating part of the cost of the university or postgraduate studies that the athletes benefiting from the program carry out, to facilitate their professional training with a view to their labor integration, once their sporting life is over.
With an amount ranging from 5,000 to 1,250 euros, the scholarship gives continuity to the beneficiaries of the previous academic year, with priority in their application depending on the credits passed and the results of the academic record. This amount may vary depending on the course to be started and the amount of the registration fee, with a maximum of 2,500 euros for students who are beginning their university studies or for those who are only doing their Final Degree Project.
To apply for these grants it is essential to register at the CPE’s Athlete’s Assistance Office, where all the information and requirements to participate can be found. It will be necessary to fill in the form and send it by e-mail to the address oad@paralimpicos.es, together with the scholarship application form, the transcript of the last year completed, and the registration for the 2022/2023 academic year.
Athletes interested in applying for the scholarship may do so before November 28, 2022. The award of this fourteenth edition will be decided on December 2.
